クライアントより新規で飲食事業を開業するため設計協力してほしいと相談を受けたプロジェクト。元々は携帯電話販売ショップの解体範囲についてアドバイスを行うところから参加しました。和歌山城の外堀の眺めを一望できる座敷を計画しました。近隣からピックアップした年代物の欄間をカウンターに利用し、古民家解体時に要らなくなった梁に照明器具を仕込み特注照明を製作しました。

This sake bar project began with advice on how to repurpose a former mobile phone shop for a new food-and-beverage business. A tatami seating area overlooks the moat of Wakayama Castle, while vintage ranma transoms and reclaimed beams were reused to create custom details and lighting. The design gives the bar a strong local character and historical texture.
